Title: Leaders of Change: Evangelizing Culture of Innovation in Nursing

Description: This session offers a dynamic exploration of leadership strategies to cultivate a culture of nursing innovation at national and international levels. The goal is to empower healthcare leaders and nursing professionals with the necessary tools and insights to foster an environment that thrives on transformative ideas. To overcome challenges, the conversation will showcase various inclusive tools like design thinking, human-centered design, and the SONSIEL-developed ROBUST method. Participants will learn about opportunities for organizations to thrive with innovative ideas. The discussion delves into nursing leadership, innovation and change management, supported by evidence-based data and compelling examples. Attendees will gain the expertise to create an innovative environment where diverse patient populations' needs are met. They will be able to share examples of how to successfully bridge the gap between leaders and staff, leading to improved retention and empowered employees. Commercializing or receiving external funding for innovative solutions can generate revenue for institutions without causing additional burdens.
