Title: Technologies that Enhance Behavioral Health Care Delivery: An Overview

Cost: This session is part of the Behavioral Health Forum agenda, and requires additional registration.

Description: Suicide, a lack of psychiatric bed capacity, lack of access to psychiatry services, and other challenges are all too real in today’s healthcare environment.  Using technology, however, to facilitate rapid diagnosis, treatment, and identification of resources is a welcomed relief to patients and clinicians alike.   With a focus on various technologies, attendees will realize the difference that technology makes in the lives of patients and their families. 

Level: Intermediate

Learning Objective #1: Receive an overview of the various technologies available today to treat those with behavioral health diagnoses

Learning Objective #2: Examine the purpose and promise of each technology discussed

Learning Objective #3: Develop a plan implementation plan to address these and other technology resources that can deliver care to those in need
