Protecting the Health and Wellbeing of Our Workforce: Health Information and Technology as an Enabler
The Behavioral Health Forum kicks off at 8:00 am with registration, breakfast and networking! The program begins promptly at 8:30 am with an opening welcome hosted by James Langabeer, PhD, MBA, ChFC, CMA Director and Professor, Ctr for Behavioral Emergency and Addistion Research, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Continental breakfast, coffee, tea, and lunch will be served.
With no end in sight, behavioral health conditions continue to accelerate in the healthcare setting and beyond at unprecedented rates. Although exacerbated by an exhausted workforce, strained financial resources, a workforce that is leaving in droves, and the continued threat of new strains of COVID occurring on a regular basis, we must unite as healthcare leaders to identify ways to overcome these challenges.
At HIMSS24, the dialogue continues as we identify ways to support those who are so deeply affected by behavioral health challenges in the workplace. By ensuring that digital ecosystem stakeholders are well-grounded in the challenges and opportunities affecting healthcare professionals, together we can and must harness the power of health information and technology to aggressively respond.
