Chief Health Information Officer; Vice President, Digital Clinical Transformation at ChristianaCare

Dr. Timothy Shiuh is the CHIO and vice president for digital clinical transformation for ChristianaCare in Delaware. In his role, he leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive enterprise digital health and clinical information strategy that facilitates effective, value-based, “high-tech/high-touch” healthcare delivery across the continuum. He promotes digitally-led clinical transformation through the use of health information technology, strategic partnerships and collaboration with system leaders. Dr. Shiuh is board-certified in clinical informatics and emergency medicine and continues clinical practice and education as an assistant clinical professor at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He also serves as an MO for MD-1 DMAT under the federal National Disaster Medical System and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Dr. Shiuh completed a combined BA/MD program and residency training at the University of Rochester-Strong Memorial Hospital and is a 2018 graduate of the master’s in Health Care Delivery Science program at Dartmouth College.
