Acting Deputy Director, Quality Measurement & Value-Based Incentives Group at CMS

Traci Archibald is the Acting Deputy Director of the Quality Measurement and Value-Based Incentives Group at CMS. Prior to serving in this position, Traci has worked in leadership roles in the Quality Improvement Group and Information Systems Group within the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality. Over the last 16 years at CMS, Traci has gained broad experience in leading program teams as well as contracting and budget development expertise. She has worked on many cross-cutting projects, allowing her to partner and connect with many public and private partners.  One of her most-loved projects was working to improve the quality-of-care transitions for individuals across the country through targeted interventions implemented by community coalitions.   Traci received her BS in Occupational Therapy from Boston University’s, Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and her MBA from the University of Baltimore.  Traci has 17 years of clinical experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a variety of practice settings.  She is married with one teenage son and two sweet pups.
