Connie Leonard

Connie Leonard received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Baltimore in 1998 and a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Management from Loyola College in Maryland in 2004.  She began her career at CMS in 1999 and currently is the Director of the Provider Compliance Group in the Center for Program Integrity. 

Connie has been involved in the development and implementation of several prior authorization models and was intimately involved in the Recovery Audit Contractor Demonstration and National Program.  She has been involved in provider compliance type activities since she began at CMS and works daily to further provide insight into paying the claim right the first time.
