Betina Fletcher

Betina N. Fletcher is the Director of the Division of PQRS and ESRD Systems (DPES) which is part of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ) Information Systems Group (ISG). Betina is a member of the ISG leadership team responsible for the infrastructure that supports the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Program. The ESRD Program provides national support to technical assistance programs, ESRD networks, dialysis facilities, and a number of ESRD quality improvement efforts.

Betina began her career in Health Information Technology at American Radiology where she was a Help Desk Support Supervisor. She then served as an Information Technology Project Manager for Lockheed Martin. After joining the federal government, Betina served as the Implementation Manager for CMS’ Quality Payment Program (QPP) where she was responsible for the rollout of the QPP Service Center, a world-class support resource that has aided thousands of clinicians and other users in navigating CMS IT systems, answered program and policy questions, and ensured that all interactions and inquiries were handled timely and thoroughly. 

Betina has a M.S. in Management Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business, and B.S. in Information Science and Systems from Morgan State University. She completed her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

In her spare time, Betina enjoys baking with her friends for the holidays, shopping, going to the spa, and spending quality time with her daughter.
