Jody Long

Jody Long has been working in the nursing field since 1997, with over 18 years dedicated to the Emergency Care setting and a Leadership role. Jody has a Masters of Science in Nursing, a Masters in Business Healthcare Management, and holds a Certified Emergency Nurse specialty certification. She is an active member of the local and national chapters of ENA and ANA to improve nursing care and promote healthy communities.  Her most recent service to the community includes her appointment by the governor to sit on the Board of Nursing for the State of Florida and she also serves on the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. Jody is dedicated to the advancement of nursing with the development of safe, high quality patient care practices. She is passionate about process improvement and driving change. Jody empowers those she works with by maintaining a positive outlook and creating strong, transparent relationships.   ​
