Describe the responsibilities of stabilizing the core functions of running military hospitals. Specific focus areas of increasing utilization of inpatient capabilities by recapturing and increasing relations with the VA, local communities, and MCSC. Improving outpatient capabilities by standardizing templates and appointments. Standardizing inpatient and outpatient staffing models. Foundation of Quality and safety over everything that occurs within the MTF-how do we accredit, and what is important. Focus on Knowledge Management and how we share best practices rapidly across the MHS. Building and validating a UM model for our top users of health care. Building and maintaining professional development programs to train and educate current and future leaders.
