Title: Bridging the Gap of Elderly Health Disparities Using Technology

Description: The global population is aging at a rapid pace. In 2018 the elderly outnumbered children for the first time in history. The elderly face significant health disparities and inequities. Tech promises several innovations to reduce these disparities. E-health, videos, telemedicine, social media & remote monitoring will be investigated. Gaps in the adoption of technology by the elderly can also exacerbate current health inequities and grow the divide. Digital literacy and education will be explored as solutions to revolutionize elderly healthcare and bridge this gap. Technology plays a vital role in enhancing overall health outcomes and will be a promising bridge in the gap of health disparities and inequity in the elderly population.
