Title:
Identifying Critical Unmet Needs to Drive Digital Health Technologies Innovation
Description:
Digital health technologies have the potential to aid in the understanding and management of human health in remote and longitudinal contexts. In this poster, we will discuss the innovations that are taking place in this field. To use these technologies for healthcare decision-making, they must meet rigorous regulatory standards achieved through high quality evidence generation process. However, given the nascent nature of this field, numerous unmet needs are hampering the smooth process of evidence generation for new innovations. We will discuss these unmet needs and how addressing these unmet needs can accelerate the pace at which the new innovations undergo the evidence-generation process, thereby advancing the field.
Level:
Introductory
Learning Objective #1:
Discuss the potential of digital health technologies (DHTs) in healthcare and their utilization through innovations
Learning Objective #2:
Identify crucial unmet needs in the regulatory grade evidence generation process
Learning Objective #3:
Discuss the impact of potential solutions and how it can shape the DHT ecosystem
