Title:
CMS Quality Systems Modernization Journey
Description:
The Information Systems Group within the Centers for Clinical Standards and Quality has recognized the importance that we all have limited budgets and resources. In order to allow ourselves and our stakeholders to be able to do more with less we have been on a journey to enable quicker time to deliver through agile development, leveraging open source technologies and APIs, and Human Centered Design focused on program participants and the beneficiary journey. We will demonstrate our journey through improvements to the Kidney Transplant Module and the Post Acute Care Patient Assessments and Survey Systems. In addition, we will discuss how these improvements have allowed improved data analytics and more real time feedback.
